I want to know how to best use these time series data in order to achieve the following goal: I want to classify (1) a time series object X which is represented by a vector (X1, X2,..., XN) as being either (a) a new object or (b) an already existing object of the dataset. This means that the object X (which is the only input) is classified (1) as existing or (0) as a new object.
